About the Job
+ Reviews and advises management of impending legislative, sustainability, and social matters.
+ Supports management and colleagues in training new employees by creating, maintaining, and conducting training on sustainability.
+ Supports management and colleagues in educating external customers by creating educational materials and conducting customer facing educational sessions on sustainability.
+ Partners with cross functional team members to recommend improvements in sustainability through prioritization of innovation projects.
+ Aligns with corporate initiative programs and procedures in conjunction with management.
+ Analyzes data and makes recommendations to leadership on new programs that could be implemented to address emerging trends.
Strategy
+ Collaborates with leadership to make decisions on products based on corporate standards, handle escalated social and environmental issues, and promote efficient implementation of department initiatives.
+ Demonstrates a solid understanding of all customer requests involving, LEED, WELL, HPD’s, EPD’s, LCA’s, etc. to actively provide response and partnership with external customers.
Business Development
+ Be a change agent to provide priorities to achieve buy-in from all stakeholders
+ Knowledgeable in sustainability certifications (LEED, WELL, HPD’s, EPD’s, LCA’s, etc.)
Communication
+ Provides regular communication with the sales organization to maintain a strong partnership in support of the business on Sustainability.
+ Communicates with internal and external customers to drive improvements to processes and overall business support on Sustainability.

+ Supports the marketing effort in support of the total division’s sales of approx. $700 million via product programs and growth at existing customers
