About the Job
InvestorPlace is looking to hire a MarketingOperations Specialist to our growing and collaborative Marketing Team. The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for a variety of marketing and campaign focused tasks. In this role, you'd be responsible for setting up and testing multiple forms of outbound emails to our customers. You will work cross-functionally to gather all components of campaigns and marketing initiatives from a variety of stakeholders and other project material. You will work independently in an organized, efficient manner, that abides by our set send schedule, while also monitoring, collaborating, and participating in other operational projects.
Responsibilities:
- Independent QA (Quality Assurance) process before final delivery of outbound emails and basic marketing promotions
- Collaboration/ Coordinate with cross functional teams to act on any feedback or changes that Marketing messages or campaigns
- Monitor Customer Service slack channel for operations related questions/issues, provide any relevant information to channels and escalating concerns as needed relating to Marketing Campaigns and the Customer facing pages that are involved
- Create/ Update links and update HTML coding for Editorial, Lead Generation, and both Internal and External Marketing emails
- Understand and utilize the marketing schedule; apply to work via outbound emails and links within them
- Navigate CRM platform effectively to create/find/edit/update relevant information as changes or updates occur
- Set up basic level marketing campaigns
- Act as final checkpoint for legal compliance in on customer facing pages. Confirm all formatting and legal requirements are present, such as opt-out links.
- Bachelors degree in any related field (i.e. Marketing, Communications, Technology, IT)
- Basic understanding of HTML markup is a plus
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to make quick technical decisions
- Curious about burgeoning practices and techniques
- Detail Oriented, self-starter who can keep projects moving and stakeholders engaged.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Exact Target is a plus
- Experience and/or working knowledge in Adobe Dreamweaver/ Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
- Any experience in Operations/Marketing Operations for subscription based services is a plus
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
- Visual acuity for reading and using the computer
- Ability to hear
- Ability to freely move about the office
- Ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate with others to exchange information
- Fluency in the English language
