creatives to produce memorable, breakthrough video content

Qualifications
• 8+ years' experience in marketing (agency, brand, production house) or commercial
video production.
• Strong digital portfolio of work that features not only beautiful video content, but stellar
editorial storytelling
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Broadcast Journalism, or equivalent
• Experience editing video for all facets of marketing communication including TV/CTV,
YouTube videos, paid social videos and corporate videos
• Experience shooting Tier 2 videos; Bonus points for still photography capabilities
• Expertise in Adobe Premier Pro, Vimeo, and Frame.io
• Video pre- and production expertise (digital camera usage and lighting & audio best
practices)
• Innately curious: stays current on trends, culture, and current events, and brings
inspiring external insight into the work
• Proven ability to multitask and work autonomously and with agility
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Strong, persuasive presentation chops
• Has a self-starting, can-do, positive attitude
• Proactivity in solving for any marketing opportunity or challenge
General Responsibilities
• Ensures that the creative output always pays off the creative brief
• Participates in radio/audio recording sessions, as well as TV/content/video pre-, during and
post-production.
• Continuously hones skills as a video editor and videographer
• Effectively applies feedback from VP, Creative Marketing, Marketing Team, and CMO
• Ensures that the work always meets internal and media traffic deadlines, but knows to
raise a hand early and often if more time is needed
• Adaptable to different styles and continuously hones skills as a creative thinker, editor,
and videographer
• Collaborate and build relationships with both the creative team, cross-discipline
marketing and CMO
• Approach brand differences strategically; always strive for new ways to differentiate
each of our brands from each other
Video Editing
• Work closely with design and copy counterparts, brand team, and producer (when
applicable) to ensure that video deliverables are completed on time and without errors
• Develop rough cuts in conjunction with creative direction from Designer, Copywriter, and
VP Creative Director
• Communicate with project manager(s) and brand team to address feedback with
precision
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and adherence to quality control and delivery
specs
• Track expenses and licensing details for all Royalty-free stock music, imagery, video and
SFX
• When applicable, provide direction and guidance to full-time and freelance video editors
to advance creative vision
Motion Graphics
• Carry through campaign aesthetics in all campaign-related video content
• Work within brand guidelines while also being able to innovate and push them forward
• Create animated graphics ranging from lower thirds, logos, offer lockups and bumpers to
visual effects and transitions for full thirty-second spots and longer-form content
• In partnership with Designer counterpart, conceptualize, visualize, innovate and design
special effects, animations and other visual imagery in all video content
Video Production
• Proficiency with Sony FS7, RED, and similar digital cinema cameras
• Manage clients, crew, and talent before and during all video production jobs
• Develop comprehensive and organized pre-production materials and shoot-day call
sheets
• Handle corporate and marketing shoots with ease, overcoming unforeseen obstacles of
light, audio, time, and space
• Maintain company-owned production equipment and track expenses for all shoots
• Seek out opportunities to improve and innovate the in-house production tools and
processes
• Willingness to serve as director of photography, camera operator, gaffer, and/or audio
technician under the direction the VP, Creative Director or in partnership with any
external production vendors. We're a scrappy team and love rolling up our sleeves to
help in any capacity.
