Job Description
Our client has just implemented Salesforce.com and a new marketing automation platform and want your skills to help make our client's global B2B marketing automation program best-in-class.
In this newly created role, this individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and analyzing and reporting on direct email marketing campaigns as well as managing all marketing automation processes and the maintenance of the platform.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy and manage end-to-end automated campaigns using Pardot to drive lead generation and lead and contact nurturing.
Campaign execution tasks include list acquisition and segmentation; import and creation of email templates and web forms; and domain name and URL management.
Build testing frameworks for continuous optimization of click-through and conversion rates.
Work closely with Content Marketing and web development teams to optimize campaigns.
Work with key stakeholders to design and execute multi-touch nurture/drip campaigns
Continually measure and optimize effectiveness and efficiencies across all campaigns; provide guidance on marketing automation best practices including lead scoring and A/B or multivariate testing on lists, e-mail templates, landing pages, etc.
Work collaboratively with Marketing colleagues, Creative, IT and Salesforce administration teams to constantly improve marketing automation processes.
Facilitate new system functionality and troubleshoot technical issues.
Serve as a resident marketing automation expert, keeping up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Recommend updates to product functionality and campaigns based on evolving global regulations regarding data privacy and email spam laws.
Recommend corrective actions and program enhancements to achieve established program objectives.
Prepare Marketing dashboards of key performance indicators.
Report on campaign results and success rates to senior management
Additional Job Details:
Requirements Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on ability in CRM platforms and marketing automation.
Salesforce.com experience required; Pardot experience preferred. Some HTML knowledge required.
Design and/or UX skills a plus, and the ability and desire to expand current technical skill set. B2B marketing experience, preferably in financial services
Familiar with integration points between Salesforce CRM and marketing automation tools and their business values.
Solid knowledge of industry best practices in marketing automation and lead generation.
SEO/SEM and paid search advertising experience a plus IP warming and email authentication experience a plus
5+ years of relevant professional experience with at least 2 years of experience managing a marketing automation tool (Pardot experience required) and at least 2 years of experience using Salesforce.com.
