Job Summary:The Marketing Specialist plays an important part in achieving business goals to build and leverage ComPsych’s industry leading position to drive further revenue growth and market share. You will focus on supporting awareness/reputation building strategies that include customer support and engagement campaigns; webinar series promotion and coordination; advertising campaigns and activities; content creation; social media activities; trade show/event logistics, and industry research for all audiences and channels.
Primary Responsibilities:- Develop, write and repurpose various types of content encompassing (but not limited to) newsletters, research reports, slides, case studies, video and podcast presentations; includes production coordination and distribution.
- Develop and coordinate informational webinars, events and other presentations with subject matter experts.
- Create and develop dashboard reports of marketing activities and assist in research for business planning.
- Provide digital advertising strategy and promotional copywriting as needed.
- Conduct and compile industry research.
- Coordinate and help to execute social media strategy for corporate platforms and for prospects including maintaining social media sites and proactively contributing to ongoing social media strategy and tactics.
- Maintain the integrity of brand identity and style guide across all marketing and communication materials and online resources. When required, collaborate with the team and act as trade show logistics coordinator including booth equipment, pre and post-show promotion, on-site material and activities; manage logistics for speaking engagements, face-to-face and/or virtual events.
- Support public relations/media relations, assisting the PR Manager in researching online and print media, tracking/reporting media results, compiling and distributing news coverage.
- Partner with the sales team on email marketing and online lead generation including coordinating with sales on CRM database, lead development and execution of customer and prospect email marketing utilizing address qualification and acquisition.
- Manage portions of the corporate website, content, and ongoing updates, maximizing lead generation capabilities and online strategy with social media activities.
- Occasional sales/business development support including the development, writing and editing of business proposal in concert with the proposal team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or similar field required.
- 2-4 years of applicable experience in marketing, communications, print, video or online journalism, advertising or public relations; experience with business-to-business marketing a plus.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication; copywriting a plus.
- Detail oriented and can manage multiple projects simultaneously; agency experience a plus.
- Strong project and time management abilities.
- Exhibit outstanding creativity and resourcefulness.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
- Strong experience with Google Analytics and email marketing software preferred.
- Proficiency in graphic design and associated software such as Canva and/or Adobe tools.
- Professional experience in managing and growing social media presence.
