About The Outer Banks Hospital
The Outer Banks Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 21-bed facility is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. Its campus includes four ORs, a medical/surgical unit, a labor & delivery suite with a dedicated caesarian section OR, a full rehabilitation therapy center, cancer treatment and radiation therapy center, and a 24-hour emergency department.

Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist reports to the Marketing Manager and supports the development and execution of all work originating in the Marketing Department.
As the Marketing Specialist, you will work on behalf of Outer Banks Health as the strategic liaison for internal business partners and external vendors to ensure alignment with objectives and plans. Primary responsibilities include helping the Marketing Manager plan, develop and execute marketing and communications plans.
Marketing Specialist can adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The ability to communicate clearly, build trusted relationships and alliances, listen, mitigate risk to facilitate the development, implementation and evaluation of integrated brand, marketing, and communications initiatives to achieve strategic and financial objectives for strategic business units are essential for the role.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher required
- Three to four years related experience
Other Information
- 40 hours a week
- Monday - Friday (day shift hours varies)
- Required to work weekends, as needed for occasional events
