Assists in developing strategic and integrated marketing communication strategies. Facilitates internal and external marketing communication plans and tactics tailored to key stakeholders, focused on product lines and programs that support the mission and strategic goals. Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates marketing communications for Owensboro Health and its affiliates, including assisting with development of marketing plans that incorporate data analysis, environmental assessment, competitive analysis, etc. to promote and increase volume and monitors results.
- Coordinates corporate communication systems to inform, educate, and support business objectives.
- Mentors team members and provides technical guidance.
- Coordinates product line driven advertising and public relations (PR) campaigns, activities, and events utilizing demographic market data for targeted populations.
- Develops original, creative concepts and content for branded collateral.
- Monitors adherence to corporate/brand identity.
- Assesses marketing communication needs, aligns budgeted resources and facilitates tactical implementation of corporate/brand identity, and product line promotion.
- Develops marketing content; writing/editing of traditional and new media collateral; coordination of community outreach and promotional events; multi-media advertising.
- Coordinates web-based marketing, social media, and intranet communications.
- Coordinates video production and editing.
- Stays abreast of marketing and communication trends and technology; stays current with software and equipment needs.
- Impacts quality and timeliness of deliverables.
- Understands marketing, advertising, public relations, and corporate communication principles.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing required upon hire OR
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field required upon hire
- A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
- No licensure/certification/registration required
- Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Works under minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, verbal, oral, and presentation skills.
- Requires a strong understanding of the specialized concepts, practices, and procedures in the area of specialization.
