Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with the company's overall objectives and business goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the technology and energy sectors.
- Define target audiences and segments to tailor marketing strategies and campaigns effectively.
2. Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's brand identity, messaging, and positioning within the utility industry.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communication touchpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine brand messaging and value propositions.
3. Content Development and Marketing Collateral:
- Lead the creation of compelling and relevant content, including website copy, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and infographics.
- Develop marketing collateral and sales enablement tools to support the sales team and drive lead generation efforts.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to generate thought leadership content and industry insights.
4. Digital Marketing and Campaign Management:
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize results and ROI.
- Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to nurture leads and manage customer relationships effectively.
5. Event Management and Sponsorships:
- Plan and execute industry events, conferences, trade shows, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate logistics, booth design, promotional materials, and attendee engagement strategies for events.
- Evaluate event success and ROI, and make recommendations for future participation and investment.
6. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments to identify opportunities and threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing roles, with specific focus in the utility industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners.
