About the Job
Indeck Power Equipment Company is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to execute and own all aspects of our marketing efforts including SEM Lead Generation, Content Development (Copy, Images, Video), Social Media, Email Marketing, Trade Shows, Advertising, Marketing Asset Management, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Online Presence:
- Continually identify opportunities for improvement in demand generation marketing activities, including comprehensive campaign strategies, paid media opportunities, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), digital reputation management, and overall lead management.
- Leverage performance and reporting tools like Google Analytics to provide insights into advertising ROI and transparency to Indeck markets and customers.
- Manage strategy across various search engines and ad networks, including Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
- Leverage HubSpot inbound marketing automation, blogging, and engagement software features in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into engaged users, and then engage into converted customers and then repeat users and advocates.
- Act as a strong business partner and lead for search engine marketing channel by driving continued innovation, new developments, and industry best practices by regularly sharing knowledge with extended teams.
- Prepare and provide Search Marketing performance reports, data analysis, and proposed action items to internal and external teams.
- Perform market research using search tools to monitor competition.
- Develop and create optimized landing pages for Indeck website(s) through Word Press Platform.
- Manage Indeck’s social media platforms to ensure brand consistency and global voice.
Email Marketing:
- Internal and partner electronic newsletters responsible for content and distribution of newsletters.
- Compile data for targeted horizontal and verticals, and develop and execute lead nurturing and email drip campaigns for the targeted audience(s).
Campaign Performance:
- Collaborate with sales teams and external consultants to improve our landing pages and optimize the user experience and improve SEO results.
- Report performance metrics of all digital marketing campaigns to sales and corporate management on a monthly basis.
- Perform competitor and industry analysis and report recommendations, trends, and other findings to Leadership.
- Collect and report client feedback and present findings to Leadership.
Content Development and Asset Management:
- Review current advertising campaigns to identify and recommend areas of improvement.
- Develop artwork for print and digital distribution that is consistent with corporate and individual company branding.
- Provide copy and graphic design for all marketing materials including web blasts, newsletters, etc.
- Continual update of all electronic and print deliverables including removal of outdated or non-applicable ad material as directed.
- Responsible for preparing product brochures, customer surveys, market research, direct mailing campaigns, company newsletter, updating Indeck website, and technical manuals, preparing for trade shows, and coordinating product photography, and video.
- Maintain a content calendar for all channels (Digital, print, social) at least one month out.
Events:
- Oversee, attend and manage the planning and execution of special event/trade shows. Work with the Sales Team to identify target markets for trade show participation, and prepare/coordinate event details (who will attend, raffles, giveaways, etc.).
- Management of Tradeshow assets (exhibit booths, giveaway stock, replenishment, etc.).
- Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations for those attending.
- Prepare a succinct post-tradeshow summary regarding effectiveness, highlights, and action items that need to be addressed.
Global:
- Support other departments with developing and distributing deliverables when requested, (presentations, VIP packages, etc.) Manage the marketing budget and recommend improvements to maximize the effectiveness of the company’s budgeted spending.
- Be a key contributor to the global utilization of the new CRM system.
- Measure, analyze, and continuously optimize the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of Indeck’s Marketing initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Public Relations.
- 3-5+ years of Marketing, SEM/PPC experience.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in SEO, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and HubSpot. Certification is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge in PPC tactics and execution.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to articulate performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- A data-driven thinker with proficiency in performance marketing measurement metrics and analytics.
- Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and email marketing and social media management programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Must have a good command of the English language, oral and written.
- Detail-oriented and able to proofread.
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to constantly changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and professionally represent Indeck.
- Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team.
Physical Demands:
- Required to sit for long periods of time.
- Infrequent light physical effort required.
- Ability to travel 10-15%.
Work Environment:
- Work performed in an office environment.
- Offsite work performed in a tradeshow/conference environment.
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
