Location
Job Purpose
As the Marketing Sr. Specialist on Honda National Advertising, the associate will be responsible for supporting the Honda brand at a Regional/Retail level in the U.S., with a primary job function to drive traffic to the website and dealerships to achieve sales objectives.
The associate is responsible for planning and producing a high volume of advertising campaigns and other creative content, designed to increase consideration and shopping of Honda vehicles while driving traffic to the Honda autos website and dealerships. More specifically, this associate will develop assets including Evergreen Retail campaigns (e.g., sales events, core model retail spots) for Tier 1 and Tier 2 media needs, which may include TV/Video, radio, print, digital, POP and social. Lastly, the associate will also support multicultural advertising needs, and other special projects, as they arise.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and direct development of creative assets for Retail campaigns, model launch support assets and in-market sustainment assets that include, but not limited to TV/Video, Radio, Print, Digital, POP and Social
- Manage and coordinate timely communications with agency partners on Incentive programs and provide direction for offer-tagging deliverables, in addition to continuous monitoring & optimizing of incentive automated tagging platform for TV/Video assets
- Oversee other operations required to support business needs (e.g., creative rotations, partnerships asset contact, share weekly sales priorities to agency partners, special projects as assigned)
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelors in marketing, business mgmt or related degree
- 7-10 years of experience in marketing or advertising (automotive preferred)
- Experience with traditional and digital asset production
- Experience with social media, experiential activations and extensions (a plus)
- Knowledge of tier 1, 2 and 3 marketing concepts
- Knowledge/experience working with a field organization, dealers/daas
- Ability to interface with all levels of management and senior executives
- Ability to direct and collaborate with ad agencies
- Ability to execute marketing strategies, yet pivot directions quickly, as the business requires
- Confident, self-starter and motivated
- Excellent communication (written, verbal), analytical, and presentation skills
- Strong ability to effectively manage a high volume of projects on accelerated timelines, and deliver results as planned and within budget
- Ability to manage and organize resources, suppliers, schedules and budgets
- Bilingual English/Spanish (a plus)
- Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Workstyle
- Remote 80% of the time, with occasional in-office days due to key meetings or other business unit functions
- Occasional travel, up to 25%, for on-location shoots, agency/vendor meetings offsite
