About Us:

We proudly serve athletes, post-surgery patients, and individuals with chronic pain, and we’re seeking a talented Licensed Massage Therapist to join our compassionate team.

 

What We’re Looking For: 

We want an experienced and motivated massage therapist with at least 2 years in the field who embodies our values of empathy and professionalism. If you possess strong technical skills, interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to ongoing learning, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Skills:

   • Proficient in a variety of therapeutic techniques including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, and Medical Massage.
   • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, including the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems, along with contraindications for specific conditions.
   • Experience working with clients in injury rehabilitation, especially those recovering from surgeries and chronic pain.
   • Familiarity with pain management techniques and specialized modalities such as Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy.
   • Conduct postural and musculoskeletal assessments to tailor treatments to individual needs.

2. Interpersonal and Communication Skills:

   • Embrace a client-centric approach, creating a safe and comfortable environment for healing.
   • Communicate effectively, explaining treatments clearly while actively listening to clients’ concerns and adapting techniques as necessary.

3. Administrative Skills:

   • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any modifications made during sessions.
   • Comply with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
   • Manage appointment scheduling effectively to optimize client flow.

4. Additional Requirements:

   • Hold a valid state massage therapy license and relevant certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.).
   • Exhibit physical stamina to manage multiple clients throughout the day.

   • Commit to continual learning and staying updated on the latest techniques and modalities.

   • Must be insured under an accredited association such as the AMTA
