Massage Therapist/ Chiropractic Assistant - Ferraro Spine and Rehabilitation

Ferraro Spine and Rehabilitation is a multi-disciplinary outpatient medical practice committed to helping patients live without pain and move better than yesterday. Based in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, FSR has served the community for over 27 years. Our state-of-the-art facility integrates physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and performance training.

As Massage Therapist, you will:

• Perform therapeutic massage within allotted time service
• Perform and complete all functions and documentation associated with an individualized assessment in order to fully develop a personalized plan of care for each client
• Administer modalities, such as infrared lamps, deep tissue laser, shockwave and other in-house devices to promote recovery, relaxation and well-being
• Confer with clients about their medical histories and problems with stress or pain to determine how massage will be most helpful
• Consult with other internal health care professionals, such as physical/ occupational therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists to possibly refer to other disciplines when medical necessary
• Work directly with chiropractors in their case load and documentation

We are seeking candidates who:

• Currently hold an active license in the state of New Jersey
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, energetic medical office environment
• Friendly, empathetic, enthusiastic and positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and etiquette
• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented person who is accountable for taking in new information and processing it accordingly
• Confident communicator and effective listener who can interact with patients and provide exceptional customer service
• Have a working knowledge of health insurance and the pre-certification process
