Position Overview:
The Massage Therapist at our holistic wellness spa is responsible for providing exceptional massage and specialty body treatments to promote relaxation, overall wellness, and rejuvenation. This role requires a high level of expertise in various massage techniques and the ability to deliver personalized experiences tailored to each client's needs and preferences. In addition to providing massages, the Massage Therapist at WorldSprings will also perform specialty body treatments such as wraps and scrubs, utilizing natural and luxurious products to enhance the spa experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and a passion for holistic well-being. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall wellness journey of our guests in a rejuvenating spa environment.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Conduct initial consultations to assess client history, wellness concerns, and expectations for the massage session.
- Administer various massage techniques depending on client booking and therapeutic goals.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace, including regularly sanitizing equipment, massage tools and switching linens out and flipping the rooms for next guests.
- Maintain accurate guest records, including treatment notes and guest progress.
- Promote additional services, products, or wellness tips to clients as appropriate and work with spa team to build a loyal clientele through personalizing experience and pre-booking wellness regimens.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, adhere to state and local regulations, and ensure client safety and comfort during the session.
- Stay updated with the latest massage techniques, industry trends, and continuing education to improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain professionalism in appearance, demeanor, and client confidentiality.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Massage Therapy License
- Relevant Experience Preferred
- Profound understanding of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and address their concerns.
- Adherence to a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
