If so, The Pfister is looking for a Massage Therapist to be a part of our team at the Well Spa and continue its iconic legacy. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide the highest standards of Massage Therapy, relaxation treatments and recommendations for home care, daily operational procedures, and overall excellent client care, creating a feeling of rest and relaxation for our guests, resulting in high retention and increased treatment and retail sales.
Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 46 consecutive years. What you will be doing:
- Provide exceptional treatments as part of the Well Spa team, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for guest relaxation and well-being.
- Maintain complete guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Ensure spa cleanliness, tidiness, and safety, adhering to state sanitation standards.
- Restock rooms with linens, products, and setup for the next day and follow opening and closing procedures.
- Update and maintain guest records to meet high performance standards.
- Attend product knowledge and service training sessions provided by Well Spa.
- Assist with treatment room and bathroom housekeeping duties.
- Efficiently sell Well Spa product lines to guests and provide guests with prescription cards for product recommendations and service repeats, informing them about website reorders and service descriptions.
What we are looking for:
- Possess and maintain a current Massage Therapist license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum 2 years of Massage Therapy experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Effective time management skills to adhere to treatment timing standards set by Well Spa.
- Must have friendly, congenial personality and professional attitude towards all guest and associates in all departments, coupled with energy and enthusiasm for the job and facility.
- Proficiency in English language (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension) and possess strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated sales experience.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education.
- Ability to make decisions in the best interest of the facility and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Availability for overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed.
