JOB SUMMARY
The Master Data Administrator (MDA) is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the activities associated with detailed analysis and maintenance of all master data.

The Master Data Administrator (MDA) is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the activities associated with detailed analysis and maintenance of all master data.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The MDA provides extensive support in the areas of Master Data Requirements, controls, processes, and data integrity. The MDA will interface with IT team members, platform resources, and end-users in the execution of his/her duties and responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the master data for the OTC Enterprise within the ERP system;
- Work directly with internal business partners to ensure data requests are complete and comply with company standards;
- Coordinate subsequent data maintenance activities with the enterprise to assure completeness of data content;
- Monitor master data integrity on a continuous basis to assure adherence to company standards and policies;
- Support and adhere to the company's data cleansing and archiving policies and procedures;
- Modify/publish data standards as required to support modifications, enhancements of business processes;
- Maintain a strong understanding of master data requirements in the ERP system and the impacts of data elements on all enterprise systems;
- Identify functional gaps and determine resolutions/work-around to include consolidation of vendor accounts;
- Ensure efficiency and data quality for all functions within the ERP system;
- Notify category managers as to opportunities for terms consolidation/improvements across the Enterprise;
- Assist with data management training material and facilitate sessions as needed;
- Provide monthly stats for department based metrics.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, information technology, or related field; or an Associate's degree and 3+ years of experience working in data management, accounts payable, supply chain, or related discipline within an ERP system environment;
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects master data;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization;
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail;
- Diligent work ethic, creating and meeting or exceeding deadlines;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
