Our organization is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Permanent Master Scheduler to join our Engineering team. This is an incredible opportunity for a professional with experience in Schedule Risk Assessments, Critical Path Management (CPM), and use of Primavera P6 software. As a Master Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring project tasks are planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with our engineering teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules. This position requires a DoD Clearance.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all phases of project life cycle, incorporating inputs from project managers, team leads, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
2. Perform Schedule Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
3. Manage and control the Critical Path and interact with project teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
4. Provide regular updates and progress reports to project managers and stakeholders, highlighting any schedule changes, potential delays, and any other major schedule deviations.
5. Utilize Primavera P6 software for project scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
6. Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure their tasks are aligned with the overall project schedule.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including DoD Clearance requirements.
8. Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on schedule analysis.
9. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of project tasks according to the schedule.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Master Scheduler role in the Engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in using scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.
4. Experience in Schedule Risk Assessments and Critical Path Management (CPM).
5. Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
6. Must possess a valid DoD Clearance.
7. Experience working with subcontractors and coordinating multi-departmental tasks.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex scheduling information to various stakeholders.
9. Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.
11. Proven track record of managing schedules for complex, large-scale engineering projects.
