Summary/Objective:
Under close supervision, this position performs highly routine tasks related to the receipt, storage, distribution, issuance and/or shipping of POSDATA parts and equipment. Job tasks are completed in accordance with well-defined procedures and/or supervisory instruction. The incumbent is expected to complete all tasks in a timely and accurate fashion.
Essential Functions:
Receive, document, and identify all incoming materials:
o Sign for packages.
o Process paperwork for receipt to reflect the date and number of items received.
o Stage material for inspection or other appropriate destination.
Verify the quantity of materials and move materials into stock using a forklift, pallet jack or hand cart, if necessary.
Assist in cycle count activity by accurately counting and verifying inventory.
Prepare parts or equipment for shipping: audit the shipment against appropriate documentation, properly containerize materials and complete necessary paperwork.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Enter shipping information into UPS and FedEx systems.
Must be present and on time displaying a good attitude to do best job.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers. The noise level is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to sit, stand, walk, utilize hand, and finger dexterity, reach with hands and arms, talk, see, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb and balance and stoop or crouch.
This position requires the ability to safely lift or move products and supplies of up to 50 pounds on a routine/repetitive basis and occasionally up to 70 pounds with assistance.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday to a set 8-hour schedule with some overtime as needed.
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One years material handling experience preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to use personal computer and learn various types of software.
Knowledge of spreadsheet software.
Ability to perform simple math and number matching.
If the ability to operate a forklift becomes essential to perform this job, training will be provided to the employee.
