Job Title: Material Coordinator I - Material Planning and Control

Description:
Coordinates the flow of materials and filling of Kanban's in a department, which may include shipping and receiving. Ensures production personnel have parts needed to produce the desired product. Oversees inventory accuracy and timeliness, identifying problems and making scheduling suggestions. Ensures material logistics align with Client Production Systems principles. Coordinates tactical execution of a production plan within a smaller group.
Duties:
- Coordinates department(s) schedule performance for procuring, expediting, and moving rejected material to the source.
- Recommends procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and management.
- Identifies root causes of material shortages and may provide recommendations.
- Utilizes Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
- May process transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
- Audits material replenishment cycles for accuracy and assists in creating material replenishment plans.
- Counts and resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Works critical shortage reports for part availability.

Shift Details:
First shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with potential OT based on production needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams on gaps in material availability.
- Support production operators in resolving material shortages.
- Audit material to ensure accuracy.
- Resolve inventory errors and expedite parts for uninterrupted production.
- Work critical shortage reports for part availability.
- Implement output from engineering release/change management processes.
- Manage deviations and adjustments.
What Skills You Need:
- Supply Management or Manufacturing experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Experience analyzing information to make sound business decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Two or more years of Supply Management or Manufacturing experience.
- Material Flow experience and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in SAP and data analytics.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology, or Engineering discipline, or 2-3 years of equivalent related work experience.
