What you'll be doing:
+ Coordinates and expedites the flow of material, equipment and merchandise between sections or departments within the warehouse according to shipping schedules and/or CDC priorities
+ Conduct daily meetings with the drivers to inform or provide updates on route schedules, priorities and assignments
+ Arrange in-warehouse transfers of material to meet schedules
+ Complies and maintains manual or computerized records such as production reports, status and location of materials
+ Notify the Project Officer, the CIO and the shipper of any discrepancies, damage found or issues with obtaining required signature and user ID within one business day
+ File claims with shipper if needed
+ Generate a receiving report that must include the following: signature of receiving clerk, date of receipt, complete item description, etc. Generate a receiving report and maintain a log of all incoming delivers
+ Send all receiving documentation to Logistics Management Services Office (LMSO) personnel within one business day of receiving process completion
+ Maintain a log of all returns that include the date of return, end user’s name, vendor’s order number or return authorization number, printed name and signature of receiving clerk
+ Verify upon delivery that bar codes listed on delivery receipt forms are delivered 100% of the time
+ Provide a digital scan of completed originals of the delivery receipt for forms designated by CDC via email by close of business day
+ Assign any items needed to be temporarily stored into the short-term storage room
+ Monitor and direct any activities of the small move technician
+ Perform other related work as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience
+ Must be knowledgeable of a computerized warehouse system
+ Must handle all information with the strictest of confidence
+ Must possess excellent time management and organizational skilled. Must have attention to detail.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
