Experience in Cost Build ups and supplier development funding.
Strong working knowledge and understanding of FARs regulations.
Demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with accounting software.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
Highly detail-oriented and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Developing return on investment reports.
Unallowable/allowable cost.
Ensures compliance with all government guidelines and standards.
Prior experience in Government funding project management.
Familiar with government cost accounting rules & guidelines.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college, university or technical school; 3-5 years related experience and/or training in accounting or finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, spreadsheets, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, internal and external clients.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must possess strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude. Requires highly efficient financial knowledge and business acumen.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to make sound business decisions and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Requires analytical knowledge; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
