Material Handler - 1st Shift at Express Employment Professionals

Material Handler
Pay Rate: $19 / hour
Schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm M-F plus overtime
Location: Fullerton, CA

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving and stock raw materials.
• Moving raw materials throughout the manufacturing process as needed.
• Review production schedule, schedule change notices, and reports or records of the status of work orders to identify any production delays.
• Follow up on special requests or work orders from production supervisors to support departments to ensure communications of such requests, and to identify anticipated or actual delays in the delivery of resources or support services to production department.
• Perform physical counts of products/components in the manufacturing process or in storage as needed to assist in inventory audits.

Requirements, Experience & Education:

• Able to perform duties such as pull Work Order, Shippers, dormant inventory, and packing of finished goods per S-71117.
• Basic computer and math skills
• Understand use of forklift, order picker
• Knowledge on scale counting
• Experience in packing and shipping (FedEx and UPS label system).
• Able to work overtime as required
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ''Green Card Holder''), Political Asylee, or Refugee
• Highschool Diploma
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
