Schedule: 40hrs/week, M-F Core Hours
Overtime Estimate: No OT
Schedule: Training for the first month will be 6:15am- 2:45 pm and will then switch to 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm for the remainder of the contract.

Overview
Our Robotics team is seeking a Service Technician who will be responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging.
Requirements:
Service Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of our products manufactured internally.
Production associates use their general knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions to perform the following:
• Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
• Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
• Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers
• Seeking improvements in processes to continuously meet on time delivery of goods.
• Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers
Required Qualifications
1. Ability to lift 50 pounds
2. Read and follow English language instructions
3. Able to work safely in structured manufacturing environments
Know to what to expect: Contractor will be completing set of steps. It takes between 5- 10 minutes to complete all the steps at a station. Contractor will put an entity in somewhere, do some wiring, add some zip ties, maybe screw down some bolts and then you slide it to the next station and repeat the process.
*Requires standing 8 hours outside of the breaks.
*Candidate will need to provide their own Steel toed shoes/ Hard composite toed
HM does have basic PPE: glasses, gloves, ESD Smocks,
Story Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects
Motivators for this need They build a few different robots for our client in their factories. They have Driven units that drive across the floor and pick up/moves storage for products. For example, when someone orders something the product gets brought to the associate who is doing the picking and is picked up by one of the Drive units. They also build manipulation arms that pick-up boxes and packages and put them in different places. They take sub-assemblies and put them together (Like advanced Legos). There is no soldering. It is more so the basic electrical/ mechanical production: using power screw drivers, power drills, clipping zip ties, using lift assist for heavier pieces.

- 80 associates right now on one shift. 3 manager that run the various departments.
- Close knit team been together for the past 3 yrs.
- Diverse team, equal mix between men and women
Reason for request?
- Starting to expand and getting busier again.
Typical Day in the Role:
Interaction with team/Day to Day:
- Interact with other associates doing builds and managers leading them. AS well as engineers who may be helping with the builds.
- No customers
Extension? Potentially
Conversion? Hopefully depending on budget.
Training/ Ramp- up:
Onboarding and exposure to the 3 basic areas and then they will be placed into production or material handling type roles based on what they connect with during their onboarding.
- Basics first week or so
- Candidates should be at expert level within a couple months

Will look at how they get up to speed, the quality of work
- If they are missing any steps consistently,
- Time and attendance.

- Someone who needs to sit at a desk, this is not the right job.
