The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse or distribution center.
Duties:
- Handle and transport materials or products to designated areas
- Build, wrap, pack, and label pallets for shipment
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Perform heavy lifting as required
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently
Experience:
- Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment like forklifts
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus
- Experience as an order picker is advantageous
