Under Direct supervision, handles and maintains flow ofmaterials and products in manufacturing areas according to establishedguidelines. Provides information for recording movement of incoming andoutgoing materials and supplies. May operate motorized and non-motorizedmaterial handling equipment. This position requires knowledge that is acquiredthrough experience, specialized education or training. The role has clearlydefined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decisionmaking. Technical knowledge required is limited to the tasks performed in owndiscipline area and is considered basic. The tasks are generally routine andmanual. The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructionsand to make simple judgement in straightforward situations. Typically requiresselecting between solutions already established. This job typically requires noexperience.

As a Material Handler, you will play an importantrole in helping our business meet quality and business goals for our customers.Under general supervision, responsible for performing the physical and/oradministrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing anddistributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (DetailedDescription) Will lift and move heavy items Will follow documented instructionsMay unpack and check goods against purchase orders or invoices. Maintainsrecords of received goods, alerting appropriate personnel to inspectunsatisfactory items when necessary May operate a forklift and order pickerWill prepare and maintain records of items shipped and will be required tocomply with documentation and record keeping procedures May prepare goods forfinal shipment and/or
prodction assembly
May examine, stock and/or distribute goods in inventoryand/or in other areas
May enter information into the inventory managementsystem
May work from engineering drawings
Ability to operate computer related programs Physical& Mental Requirements:
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of workoccasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of forceoccasionally, and or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The ability to work with and/or sort small componentparts.
Must have good visual acuity and demonstrate fine motorskills/ability.
Must be able to follow detailed verbal and/or writteninstructions.
Must be able to complete detailed documentationaccurately.
Must be able to observe and correct/note minuteinconsistencies.
