We are hiring a Material Handler I. The Material Handler I is responsible for handling of unrestricted materials and order picking for manufacturing. Position performs handling of unrestricted materials for order picking, manufacturing returns, and quality releases in an ISO and FDA regulated manufacturing environment.

Shift: 

3rd shift (9:00pm-5:30am)

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all safety and health procedures.
• Complete all training assignments as mandated by training schedule.
• Participate in daily team huddles.
• Safely operate forklift equipment and follow company certification requirements.
• Pick process orders and process manufacturing returns into stock locations.
• Stock unrestricted materials from Quality.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Participate in department/ business initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and cGMP standards.
• Perform material movements both systematically and physically.
• Participate in annual physical inventory event as necessary.

Required Skills/Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ operating a stand-up forklift.
• 1-2 years of inventory control/ cycle count experience.
• Experience in ISO and FDA regulated businesses, and cGMP environment a plus.
• Ability to perform Arithmetic (e.g., add, subtract, divide and multiply) routinely.
• Knowledge of the metric system.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklift.
• Knowledge of cycle count process.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and RF scan guns.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:

• For California, the base salary range for this position is $19.08-24.77per hour. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
