Material Handler II - Inventory - Daikin Applied

Daikin Applied is now hiring a full-time Material Handler with a focus on Inventory in our Dayton, OH Distribution Center.

1st shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Starting pay - $18 DOE

$500 Sign-On Bonus*

Summary: Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


*

Executes replenishment plan but fulfilling restock tasks
*

Supports Inventory Analyst in slotting and consolidation efforts
*

Able to backfill Inventory Control
*

Able to operate all Material Handling Equipment in the facility
*

Ability to backfill in various roles through out the facility
*

Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production

sheet
*

Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or containers
*

Packs and prepares cartons for shipping to customers. Ensures accuracy of order and security of

packaging to avoid damage in shipment
*

Secure certain larger items in crates, either by building from scratch or using an empty crate on

hand
*

Use crate shop equipment when required. Such as table saws, nail gun and staple gun
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* 1 year of Industrial Vehicle operating experience preferred
