Material Handler III (6 Positions) - Cenergy International

The main function of a Material Handler/Packaging Operator is to receive, store, label, and issue materials, equipment and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.




• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.




• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.




• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.




• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.




• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.




• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.




• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.




• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.




• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

Required Skills:

• Basic Plus and Site Specific required




• 2 plus years of Warehouse type experience or Assembly line is acceptable




• Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time as there is downtime associated with this position.

Education/Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $15 -$18 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.



Schedule: 5/40 plus overtime working 8-12 hours per day and weekends as needed to meet production demands
