Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $19.50/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7am-3pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is a contract to hire role.
Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clean the manufacturing plant, including pipes and beans, forklifts, pallet jacks, and cooler racking
- Clean production equipment and sanitize
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Complete necessary sanitation trainings and follow policies and procedures
- Maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that production quality is maintained
- Report any issues with food safety, food quality, or personnel safety to management
Material Handler Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Ability to do basic addition and subtraction issues
- Previous sanitation experience desired
- Regular bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Frequently lift 25lbs throughout shift
- Prolonged standing
- Occasionally lift up to 40lbs
