About the Job
Adecco is assisting a local client in San Jose, CA for a Material Handling/Forklift Driver. Monday to Friday 7am to 330pm at $25.00/hr.
As a Material Handler , you’ll ship, receive, package, count and route material, complete associated paperwork and/or operate machinery such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordinate shipping and receiving and material handling transactions with appropriate individuals/departments.
• Responsible for assigned picking inventorying, and packaging. Route packaging materials to proper departments.
• Instruct and/or assist in preparing merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems.
• Sets up locations in ERP and resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and receiving discrepancies with planner-buyer.
• Arranges stock to best advantage for efficiency and accessibility. Adheres to all safety rules and may use forklift and other material moving tools and moving machinery.
• Deliver product from receiving to the appropriate department
Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
