Material Handling and Logistics Supervisor - Jing Jin Electric

Jing-Jin Electric (JJE) is a world leader of motor systems and electric drive assembly for new energy vehicles (NEV), covering pure electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in hybrids, and hybrids. JJE employs more than 2,000 employees. We are in process of launching our North America Operation, an automated production facility, in Farmington Hills, Michigan. We are looking for a Material Handling and Logistics Supervisor to join our team!

The Material Handling and Logistics Supervisor will oversee various roles in the Logistics Department to support US Launch Programs.

Responsibilities:

* Lead material handlers to supports production and warehouse

* Track production and inventory and work with related to systems and process applications issues as needed

* Support the ERP system’s integration with PFEP, Kanban, Level load, and other planning tools as required

* Simplify and standardize the Cycle Count process resulting in ABC compliance, and within adjustment tolerance

* Drive excellence within Inventory management processes complying with defined PFEP standard routines

* Support adherence to all Internal and External Audit certifications required that are related to ERP and Planning

* Review shipments /receipts for quality accuracy

Required Experience:

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree required. Field of study in Supply Chain, Lean Manufacturing or other related field, preferred.

* Proven quantitative ability, and good communication skills

* Minimum 2 years’ experience performing a supply chain function, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

* Capable of working with cross-culture teams

* Knowledge of Lean manufacturing shop floor applications (pull systems,) preferred

* Proven computer skills proficiency including Excel.

* Demonstrable abilities in reporting, dash-board data analysis and trends discovery for providing measurable insights to all sales-related functions
