What the role entails
- Create material schedules for the factories based on capacity and production forecasts
- Analyze issues causing reduced capacity and re-planning to reduce the inefficiencies or partnering with production to improve output
- Monitor and communicate with purchasing when materials will impact production
- Monitor inventory trends and re-plan schedules accordingly to achieve targeted inventory levels
- Assist in identifying reliable supply sources
- Maintaining supplier relationships, and track quality, price, and delivery metrics
- Review and analyze product specifications
- Help troubleshoot issues
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Supply chain training, including higher learning courses or certifications
- 1-3 experience in supply chain capacity or similar role.

- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping

- Required to occasionally climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch; and talk or hear
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull minimum of 50lbs and maximum of 75lbs
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
