Material Specialist at ADECCO

Job Summary:

Material Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of materials and supplies to the production line. This role is essential for maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime by promptly delivering necessary items to workstations.

Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Transport materials and supplies to and from the production line, ensuring all workstations have what they need to operate smoothly.

Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages to the team.

Coordination: Work closely with production staff to understand their material needs and adjust deliveries accordingly.

Support Production: Assist with additional tasks, such as cycle counts and other inventory-related duties, as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 1-3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with basic math skills for inventory tracking.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety practices.

Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems are a plus.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
