Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Materials Coordinator for a 12 Month + Contract opportunity. Administers and operates the organization's warehouse, including processing, packaging and storage of medical device equipment. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of medical device inventory. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving of medical device equipment through multiple shipping methods. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Assist with cycle counting inventory throughout the territory.
- Aid in the review of incoming equipment requests in CRM and process in ERP system.
- Conduct inventory, replenishment, and inspection of incoming branch surgical sets to prepare for redistribution.
- Perform ERP transactions for surgical set movement to maintain proper planning and traceability of inventory.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders (Field Operations, Field Inventory, Commercial Operations, Sales Reps and Sales Managers) by collaborating in optimizing the supply chain.
Qualifications
- 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills; ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities; multi-tasking is a must.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Knowledge of the medical device industry and hospital customer base preferred.
- Experience in Oracle JDE, WebOps, SAP and Salesforce experience a plus.
- Provides on call support on nights and weekends when required.
