As the Materials Director for Watts Applied Solutions, you will oversee Supply Chain, Materials Management, and Logistics functions across three main manufacturing sites (TX, NY, FL). Your responsibilities include SIOP/S&OP, tactical buying, planning, inventory management, and material/product distribution to meet the company and customer requirements. Managing approximately $350M+ in revenue and $90M+ of direct material spend, you will report to the VP of Operations and lead teams in promoting a culture of excellence.
You Will:
Oversee production control planning to meet sales forecasts and balance workforce and material requirements.
Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries while minimizing costs and premium transportation charges.
Lead and enhance the Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (SIOP/S&OP) processes across the platform.
Implement and maintain ERP and Demand Planning systems for improved efficiency and data accuracy.
Design and track KPIs using BI, AI, and ML for performance benchmarking and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales to forecast new product timelines and sales.
Develop policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs and streamline operations.
Work with the Corporate Global Quality team to ensure supplier quality metrics align with DEI, ESG, and PPM goals.
Manage and motivate your team to achieve performance and professional growth objectives.
Oversee supplier quality and performance, including cost-effective procurement and inventory control of production materials.
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree required.
15+ years of progressive experience in lean materials management in high SKU, high-volume environments.
Multi-site experience.
Proven experience in managing and developing teams within the purchasing and materials function, with a focus on implementing pull systems in alignment with Operations functions.
CPM Certification.
Ability to travel up to 20%.

Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
