How You Will Make an Impact?
The Service Materials Manager will act as the functional materials training expert for Service group. The incumbent will provide the initial training, mentoring, and auditing of different levels of staff on Morgan's current material processes as well as rolling out communication and provide training that is a result of system and process changes and/or enhancements. In addition, he/she will serve as an interim buyer/planner if and where the service requires it.

- customer supplied material management.
- location & item master management
- cycle count program / inventory accuracy
- NCR / Material returns
- internal fabrication
- work order cost review
- excess and obsolete inventory management
- physical inventory
- inventory sharing and substituting.
Required Credentials
- BS/BA degree in business or related field
- APICS certification, preferred.
- Understanding of all functional aspects of the supply chain.
- Advanced knowledge of MPS/MRP systems. Oracle JDE Experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- 30%-40% Travel Required within the service centers.
You Must Be Able to
- Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.
- The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
