Atlantic Health System is looking for a full time Materials Representative at the Atlantic Distribution Center (ADC) located in East Hanover, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience in picking, packing, shipping and providing logistical services to Atlantic Health System in our Atlantic Distribution Center. The hours for this position are:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1pm-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm
Principal Accountabilities of all Materials Representatives at the Atlantic Distribution Center:
1. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.
2. Counts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
3. Examines incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify.
4. Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.
5. Determines method of picking, packing and shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
6. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
7. Performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
1. One year of experience working in Material Handling or relevant area.
