Applications are now being accepted for a part-time TITLE I ASSISTANT,Math Interventionistposition. The minimum rate is $18.15 per hour, and employee benefits are not included with this position. The primary function of this position is to assist the Title I Reading Specialist and professional staff with the delivery of the reading program and support services to students. Title 1 Assistants work approximately 15 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree or two years of college required; PA teaching certification and experience working with school age children preferred.
- Strong communications skills.
- Experience or skills with computers is preferred.
- Must possess the temperament to work with students and adults exhibiting a wide range of emotions, and have the physical ability to perform the essential duties
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the supervision of the teacher, plan and deliver lessons, administer assessments;
- Assist students with skills and comprehension;
- Assist students and teachers with computer software use;
- Perform Title I clerical duties as directed;
- Attend in-service and training programs;
- Attend parent/school meetings as requested;
- Maintain confidentiality of information.

PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release-
A separate form must be completed for:
- Current employer; and
- All former employers that were school entities; and
- All former employers where you were in a position that involved direct contact with children.
