MCO Verification Specialist - Curis Services

SUMMARY: The MCO Verification Specialist provides financial, clerical, and administrator services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Run monthly all payer verification.
• Obtain authorization for Medicare B services.
• Maintain daily records of admissions/discharges and status change within facility.
• Assist with medical plan changes.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounts Receivable: 1 year experience, required.
• Experience in Long Term Care industry, preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
