Architect – Master Data ManagementJob Description Summary
This Role, MDM (Master Data Management) Architect is responsible for providing architectural and development leadership to MDM and DQ (Data Quality) teams and deliverables for multi domain data. This role will be responsible for establishing the first Phase of customer master MDM solution, to ensure that the organizations data is accurate, reliable, and consistent. You will lead the architecture and solution strategy to implement and maintain and improve data quality across various systems and databases, while adhering to enterprise data management framework.
This includes being the technical focal for System Implementation partners, Security teams, data steward community, ERP and other system owners to build a robust MDM solution that is scalable and futuristic.
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the technical setup of DQ and MDM Platforms, and solution builds implemented by SI (System Implementation) partner.
- Be the focal for Infra and solution architecture and successfully complete reviews with security teams, architecture committee etc.,
- Engage with ERP owners to design data ingestion & consumption processes delivered from MDM.
- Technically deliver data quality, and MDM solution through SI partners.
- Integrate solutions with data catalog and governance programs.
- Develop technical framework for detective and proactive data quality expectations, that includes standards, guidelines, and best practices for data quality assessment, monitoring, and improvement.
- Implement proactive data quality monitoring processes to identify and address data issues in real-time, by partnering with other system of record teams.
- Partner with prog mgmt. teams to elevate technical risks, negotiate, and meet acceptable work around.
- Experience with Informatica IDMC for Data quality and MDM.
- Hands on experience implementing Customer, Product, and other data domains.
- Experience building scalable architectures and solutions.
- Have deployed tools and adoption strategy to enable stewardship bench and the enable the community to cleanse and enhance data.
- Lead a mixed team of 15+ internal and external data professionals and operate in a highly matrixed environment.
- History analyzing large datasets with knowledge in Oracle, SAP, Salesforce etc., to effectively manage metadata and data models.
- Experience working across multiple functions and with global resources.
- Excellent leadership capabilities to navigate uncertainties and assertively take decisions with educated assumptions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment, and influence deliverables towards the EDM Vision and mission.
- Excellent collaboration skills, working across multiple functions and with global resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with at least 15 years of Data Quality, Governance and Management experience.
