MDS Coordinator Job Requirements
- MDS Coordinator work experience.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license that is current, active, and in good standing with the state of WI.
- PCC experience (preferred).
MDS Coordinator Job Summary
We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current Wisconsin nurse license in good standing to join our nursing management team. As a key role within our leadership team, the ideal candidate would use their Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) work experience and be responsible to assess and monitor proper treatment for the residents in our facility. The MDS Coordinator determines the health status, care plans, and procedures for intake of residents according to state and federal standards.
MDS Coordinator Job Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely completion of all Medicare/Medicaid MDS process in order to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided.
- MDS 3.0 knowledge of the entire MDS process and the reimbursement system.
- Detail-oriented with your MDS completion.
- Excellent assessment skills.
- Coordinates with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure appropriate programming to address restorative needs.
- Ability to work with the interdisciplinary team to assure MDS compliance, understanding, and follow-through.
