About the Job
Position Purpose:
Represent our store's image in a positive manner by providing our customers with helpful, courteous service. Clean and sanitize meat department equipment and facility.
Qualifications/Skills:
Must be 18 years or older to clean meat, bakery, and deli machines.
Honest, team-oriented person who has a good work ethic.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Interaction with customers will be friendly, courteous, positive and enthusiastic. Use designated chemicals to clean and sanitize, and follow proper cleaning procedures for departments including, but not limited to meat, deli, and bakery. Cleaning duties include but not limited to, washing, scrubbing, mopping, and sweeping, etc. Department equipment may have to be taken apart, cleaned and sanitized and put back together. Directs or shows customers where items are in the store. Ability to work independently while maintaining efficiency and productivity. Stays productive while punched in. Other duties as they are assigned.
Physical Requirements
Lift 50lbs occasionally, 20lbs regularly. Stand for the duration of work shift. Reaching, pushing, and pulling regularly. Squatting and stooping regularly. Will work in a wet, cold environment.
