Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Leads the in house electrical team. Responsible for repair and maintenance of general plant equipment such as; Electrical Circuits, Power Distribution, Electrical Control Systems, Motor Control Centers, and Variable Frequency Drives. Support all projects related to electrical infrastructure at the site.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Lead the in house electrical team for the site.
- Responsible for planning and execution of preventative maintenance and demand maintenance.
- Establish good communication links between shifts.
- Ability to provide comprehensive shift report both written and verbally to other Department Leads.
- Effectively manage conflicts until Supervisor is available
- Able to train and mentor individuals as required
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Work with others to troubleshoot and correct problems
- Evaluate critical situations, consult with supervisory staff and propose corrective action.
- Ability to understand and comply with all cGMPs and SOPs.
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and work in awkward positions
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge and experience working with electrical systems from 24 volt up to 5kV.
- The ability to analyze, investigate, and solve technical issues involving electro-mechanical equipment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required:
- Candidates must possess an AA degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school or equivalent education/experience.
- Must have strong background in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
Desired:
- A flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
