Emergent Health Partners, a nonprofit healthcare provider, is currently seeking a full-time gas and diesel mechanic for its operations based in Ann Arbor. Candidates should possess a strong independent work ethic, be a self-starter, and possess basic knowledge of light to medium duty gas and diesel engines for emergency vehicles. •         18 years of age

•         Valid driver’s license.

•         Proof of citizenship or immigration status.

•         Successful completion of EHP drug screen and physical.

•         Successful completion of criminal background check.

•         Must, at a minimum, possess and maintain State of Michigan Automotive Mechanic certification in the following categories:

Engine Repair

Frontend, Suspension & Steering Systems

Brakes & Braking System

•         Must furnish own tools.

•         Strong background in electrical, air conditioning, heating, braking, and power train systems including diagnosis and repair.
