EMPLOYMENT DURATION

As a Shop Mechanic, your key responsibilities will be to perform basic tasks in repairing and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment alike.
- Inspect, diagnose, repair and replace defective, worn parts.
- Test components, such as diesel and gasoline engines, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment and components.
- Occasional travel to jobsites out of state to repair vehicles/equipment.

BROAD OVERVIEW OF VEHICLES/EQUIPMENT:
- Hot tar kettles
- Ride saws
- Pickup trucks up to class 6 trucks
- Trailers up to 14K
- Diesel air compressors
- Application pumps
WHAT IT TAKES:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working on pickup trucks, heavy trucks, construction equipment, and trailers
- Able to provide own basic hand tools
- Ability to weld (not necessary, but a plus)
- Ability to drive / operate equipment
- The ability to frequently lift, push, pull and/or move 50 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
- A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record
- A negative drug and alcohol test throughout the tenure of employment
