YOUR ROLE:

Hillis-Carnes Specialty Construction and Drilling Services is actively seeking a Mechanic/Shop Foreman for our Woodbine, MD office. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of drill rigs, light/heavy duty trucks, and heavy & specialty construction equipment. Daily duties to include preventive maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles and drilling/construction equipment (both in the shop and out in the field), DOT inspections, fabrication and welding, obtaining price quotes from vendors and requesting purchase orders, and ordering of parts and shop supplies. It is also imperative to have good leadership skills, as you will be managing multiple mechanics on a daily basis. CDL class A or B is preferred but not required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CDL class A or B with a satisfactory driving record
• High School Diploma
• Ability to pass a background check/drug screen
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
