Mechanical Assembler - Ultimate Staffing Services

• Hours: 7am-3:30pm
• Shift: Monday - Friday
• Pay rate range: $20-$25/hr (depends on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble vacuum piping, frames, insulation packages, gas distribution systems, and instrumentation wiring.
• Operate and test vacuum furnaces, including loading/unloading, system maintenance, and fluid changes.
• Perform insulation repairs, system maintenance, and field service of vacuum furnaces.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inspection using micrometers and measuring tools.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, equipment testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and assembly drawings.
• Proficient in mechanical skills and familiar with tools such as cranes and fork trucks.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Willing to travel 10-20% for system installations and service.

Additional Info:

• Standard work hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
