- Hours: 7am-3:30pm
- Shift: Monday - Friday
- Pay rate range: $20-$25/hr (depends on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble vacuum piping, frames, insulation packages, gas distribution systems, and instrumentation wiring.
- Operate and test vacuum furnaces, including loading/unloading, system maintenance, and fluid changes.
- Perform insulation repairs, system maintenance, and field service of vacuum furnaces.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inspection using micrometers and measuring tools.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, equipment testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and assembly drawings.
- Proficient in mechanical skills and familiar with tools such as cranes and fork trucks.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Willing to travel 10-20% for system installations and service.
Additional Info:
- Standard work hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime.
