Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings.
Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verify specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections.
Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures, rules, and regulations.
Hard Skills
+ Ability to retain information with regard to standard assembly/disassembly procedures
+ Strong mechanical aptitude
+ Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
+ Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery, and pneumatic operated tools
Work Environment
1st Shift 7:00 - 3:30 Monday - Friday
OT worked as needed (will be worked during typical week, not on weekends)
Starting wage of $20-$22/hr for assembly position with great upward mobility
Climate controlled shop
