About the Job
Our local client has an opening on their team for a Mechanical Assembler. This is a temporary position in the Saratoga, NY area with the possibility for full-time with the right candidate. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler will include:*Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints and diagrams
*Identify and report product defects
*Utilize handheld tools to assemble components
*Assemble equipment and products according to engineering specifications
*Maintain a clean and safe working area
*Perform all work in accordance with outlined quality standards and establish safety procedures
*Other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Mechanical Assembler:*High School Diploma or GED
*Must be able to read a ruler
*Must be able to lift 70 lbs
*Able to work independently or with a team
*Mechanical assembly experience is required or previous experience in the Construction Field
*Basic reading skills and ability to follow directions
*Detail oriented and deadline driven
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to perform work safely, accurately, and thoroughly with a level of detail
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18-22/hr.
