Mechanical Design Engineer - Cornerstone Recruiting

Cornerstone Recruiting is hiring for a Mechanical Designer to work for a local MEP firm in Forest Hill, MD.

Mechanical Designer
1-5 years' experience in commercial and retail HVAC and plumbing design that has or will obtain their FE and PE. Our office also has opportunities with multi-family design, retail, commercial office, warehouse, telecom, government and limited institutional projects.
Mechanical position includes:
* Field surveys/document existing conditions
* HVAC and ventilation calculations
* HVAC and plumbing systems design utilizing AutoCAD
* Attend client project meetings (scoping, kick-off, review, or coordination meetings, etc.).
* Utilize project management skills such as coordination with other staff members, consultants, clients and contractors, etc.
* Provide construction administration services including response to contractor RFI's, shop drawing review, construction site visits and punch outs
