Mechanical Designer - Selectek, Inc.

Our client is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer.     

Summary:

• In this role, you will perform mechanical design - conceptual design, detail drawings and red-line revisions. 
• The work will likely be done on steel fabrication for machine design, with heavy plate design, possibly other items as well. 
• Candidate will document and communicate with the Engineering team as designs are produced and give feedback on redline corrections.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Solidworks
• Working knowledge of Product Data Management Systems/PDMS

Preferred:

• Someone with working knowledge of machine/fabrication shop processes including flame burning, fabrication, machining and assembly would be a bonus

Pay Range: 

• $25 – 40/hr, depending on experience
